StoryGraph!
Just look at those stats and pictures!! I have been loving The Story Graph this year. I have also been tracking in Goodreads, kind of, since that’s where most of my friends are still tracking. Goodreads just gets so bulky and laggy that I don’t enjoy using it anymore.
The pros of StoryGraph:
- Super clean feel
- Plus version has AI that will tell you how well a book will fit your likes
- What I think is the biggest plus: they have content warnings! You can also flag content warnings that you do not want to read and there will be a warning exclamation mark next to the book title so you can know going into it
- The stats are great!
- You can do half and quarter stars if you’re into that kind of thing
- Doesn’t integrate with Amazon
- The way that the book challenges works is actually usable
- You can import your Gooreads with a couple of clicks!
- They have a roadmap section that you an request features and they show you what they are working on for improvements
The cons of StoryGraph:
- Not as many of my friends are using it
- The giveaways aren’t as good (although I’ve never won a giveaway on Goodreads, so this doesn’t really impact me)
- The way to add reviews/stars is a little bulky
- Integrates with Amazon so you can sync books you’re reading through Kindle
