Day 15 of the Book-a-Day Countdown to 2026! (For all prompts, view this post)
The Prompt: The Cozy Comfort
The Definition: Bring on the blanket, candle, and holiday lights.
The Book:
The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year by Ally Carter
My Rating:
The premise of this cozy mystery is a grumpy thriller writer vs. a sunshine cozy mystery writer. And it takes place during the holidays, so a perfect read for right now!
The mystery is engaging but not terrifying, and the romance is sweet. It felt like watching my favorite holiday movie, but better. I TECHNICALLY finished this last year… but it was like the last week of the year so I’m counting it for this countdown!
