The Book:
Mrs. Plansky’s Revenge by Spencer Quinn.
My Rating:
I skipped the traditional Christmas story this year for something more my style: a cozy mystery about a grandma seeking justice. When Mrs. Plansky gets scammed out of her fortune, she doesn’t just call the bank. She flies to Romania to get it back herself.
Mrs. Plansky is older, underestimated, and absolutely done being taken advantage of, and watching her reclaim her power is both entertaining and satisfying. It’s a perfect “cozy mystery” type book!
