For Day 3 of the Book-a-Day Countdown to 2026, I am begging the universe to hurry up and put this one on my TV screen.
The Prompt: Netflix, Call Me! – The Casting Director.
The Definition: A book begging for a screen adaptation
The Book:
The Finlay Donovan series by Elle Cosimano.

My Rating:
Why it needs to be a show: Finlay is a stressed-out mom of two, trying to meet deadlines, dealing with a messy ex-husband, and somehow accidentally stumbling into a life of crime. As a mom in a similar season of life, I feel the chaos to my core. (Well, except for the contract killer part. )
The banter between Finlay and her nanny/partner-in-crime, Vero, is pure gold. I want. to see the disguises, the misunderstandings, and the sheer panic of balancing school runs with crime scenes played out.
My Dream Cast: I’m picturing someone like Isla Fisher for Finlay.
