- It was an exhausting week of work. We had an important visit that took lots of prep work. We had days of jam packed presentations and show and tell. It went well, I think! I also got to take the team out for a happy hour Tuesday night, and a coworker flew in from Arizona so got to hang out at the bar with him and another coworker that flew in from Florida.
- I went to bingo at Invictus on Monday for a friend’s birthday. It was so fun. We learned yesterday though that Invictus sold the property and will be moving out, possibly out of Blaine. So sad, that has been our “community center”, especially with the Moms on the Run Crew.
- Joel is out of town this weekend at a pickleball tournament. We have a semi busy weekend. One of Miles friends has a bday party tomorrow morning. We also got invited to a neighbor’s bday tomorrow morning at their house. Hailey met that neighbor tonight and had so much fun playing with her! We also went to one of the other neighbor’s bday party’s at a park last night. That was fun! It was hot but the kiddos still tore around the place. We tye dyed T-shirts
- Speaking of bday parties. We planned Hailey’s bday party on her bday this year! It’s over Labor Day so quite a few people are at their cabins but sounds like we will have a good turn out. It is jam packed the rest of the summer with birthday parties! We have 3 more we just got invited to. So much to cram in before Hailey starts kindergarten 😭
- I snuck a run in before work on Thursday! With my neighbor and her pup! Nothing crazy, it was so humid. We got in about 3 miles. I am going to go to running club Sunday morning, Joel’s parents offered to watch the kiddos so I could do that. I’m also going to do the Parents Night Out at Lifetime tomorrow night and just come back to the house to see if I can make a dent on the garage and unpacking that so we can finally park there.
