Halloween weekend

It was such a great weekend. Joel had Friday off and played pickleball twice! Friday after work, I stopped for a drink with a running friend to catch up before I picked the kids up from daycare. It was such a nice night so I took the kids to the park to play for a while. We picked burgers up from Five Guys and had dinner and called it a night early.

Saturday morning, Joel played Pickleball. I really didn’t feel like getting in the pool so we skipped swimming lessons. I took the kids to the MiniSota Play Cafe and they played for 2 hours! Joel met me there after Pickleball and grabbed the kiddos so I could go for my long run. I went to the Luce Line and ran 10 miles. I LOVE that trail so much. It was such an amazing morning for a run.

This rarely happens anymore so it was a lovely snuggle

After my run, I headed home and ate some lunch and snuggled Miles a bit. Joel brought the kids to his parents for the night and we went to get Indian food for dinner. We went to a place called Tandoor, it was delicious! We went over to a friend’s house for a Halloween party and stayed out way later than we are used to! Thankfully I slept in until almost 8 am!

The kiddos got home and we went to the grocery store. I got Hailey a stroller for her baby since there was a 5$ off coupon for it. She pushed her baby all’s round Target, it was adorable. After getting groceries, I sped cooked because we were having friends over for the Vikings game. They have a 3 month old and she is so precious! Our kids napped most of the time, thankfully. The Vikings won! After the game, we packed the kids up and headed to some Trunk or Treats. The kids had so much fun! Miles didn’t quite understand why he was doing it, but he loved to grab stuff from the bowls and put it in his bucket. He LOVED the fire truck! He kept trying to walk back over to climb in. I can’t wait to take them Trick or Treating tomorrow!

I’m never in pictures – I was so thankful Joel grabbed this shot of us
