It’s almost time to head to Duluth! I’ve been enjoying the morning getting things packed up and ready to go. I’m meeting my friend Shaun in about half hour to carpool up there. I keep getting asked if I’m nervous/ready/insert other feeling – and I don’t actually know. Is my training there.. no, not really. I’ve run some longer runs and spent time on my feet. But my body is feeling good! My hips aren’t hurting and just overall feeling pretty good. It also helps that I’ve done over 20 marathons so I know I can do it.. it will just be a looooong mental grid. Especially if it rains like it’s forecasted to

This popped up on my Facebook memories page – this was my favorite marathon I’ve ever run. So much fun. Hopefully I can enjoy the race tomorrow half as much!

It’s been a long week of work. Lots of last minute deadlines for two bigger deliverables had me at the office passed 6:30 two nights in a row. Joel’s new boss was in town so they went to the Saints game and did dinner another night so I had to be on kid duty. I got the kiddos to swimming lessons on time

Daycare is in the midst of their summer activities. Between bounce houses, water days, and ‘field trips’, the kids are having a blast. They had Magic Bob this week and they both loved it!

Hailey is playing with her baby dolls again and it’s adorable. She set them up before daycare and asked me to take care of them and give them all a hug. Done!
