Twin Cities Marathon weekend has such a soft spot in my heart! I have run the 10-miler four times and the marathon five times! Looking back on over a decade of the race <3
I do have a goal to get back to marathoning again some day, this race is so special, it might be this one!

Ran solo, had a great race! Was originally planning to run with friends but my training was going so well I decided to go.

2023: no plans to run but race was cancelled
It was a hot one out there…
2022: cheered on the race with the kiddos
It was a beautiful day to watch! We swung by a friends house (the same one I ran the 10 mile with the year before) and then headed down to the course. The kids loved cheering and ringing the bell.

2020: COVID
No racing this year, as the whole world was still shut down
2019: cheered on the race with Hailey
We parked at a friends house and then walked the stroller down. We went to eat breakfast at Longfellow Grill and then stopped at another friend house that had just moved in along the course to watch friends. Thankfully, Hailey wanted to nap that afternoon because we all needed it.
2018: Marathon {4:17:29} – my last marathon before having kiddos
Joel ran the 10 mile, I ran the full! I crashed, like normal, but enjoyed as much as I could.
