Currently Watching
Still watching Agatha Raisin series. We started the first episode of Daisy Jones and the Six on Amazon Prime – I liked the book, so it’s fun to see how it gets turned into a show.
The new season of Ted Lasso comes out next week!
High of the Week
- Joel was out of town from Friday to Tuesday, so it was really nice to have him back home. When he landed on Tuesday, he came with me to an Orange Theory Fitness class. It was so nice to workout with him.
- I took Monday and Tuesday off to try to refresh. I read quite a bit, worked out, drank lots of coffee.
- We had dinner at Joel’s parents house with some of his extended family last night. It was great to see them.
- I was able to get happy hour with a couple of friends after work one day.
- Both kids were able to go to daycare all week! We were over the colds, ear infections, and strep throat
Low of the Week
A lot of stuff going on at work – a few of my mentors are retiring and some other moves that are making work a little bit of a bummer lately.
Weekly Workouts
I made it to Orange Theory four times! I am going to try to get a few miles in tomorrow since I can’t go to OTF (Joel is playing Pickleball in the morning)
Meal Plan for Next Week
I took a few recipes out of Love Real Food by Kathryne Taylor for myself:
- Spinach & Artichoke Quiche
- Sweet Potato Enchiladas
- Chickpea Tikka Masala with Green Rice
I took a few recipes out the Feeding the Frasers by Sammy Moniz for Joel this week:
- I’m going to make Joel the normal egg bake with turkey sausage, cheese and cut up Pillsbury biscuits
- Chop Suey with basil pesto butter on English muffins
- Spiced Chicken Thighs with green sauce, rice and veggies
Recipe I made this Week
Nothing… I was pretty lazy this week with things going on, I just mentally did not want to make anything
