Joel and I watched You People on Netflix – about an interracial couple that want to get married and are dealing with each other’s family. It was enjoyable.
High of the Week
- Not the temperature? It’s cold…
- I started out another season of Run with Aim
- I got drinks with a couple of friends from work
- Took the kids to the mall, and the indoor playground, and Target… and lots of places to keep them entertained
- I got YakTrak running cleats and they made a HUGE difference in being able to run on the ice, although I almost had to seek out the ice because if I hit a clean patch, the pressure it put on parts of my feet was uncomfortable
- Miles got a haircut!
- I got breakfast with Joel’s family and the kiddos yesterday

Hailey, right before she goes to bed.. for some reason says: “Don’t pee and scare me and don’t poop and scare me. I’m going to close my eyes!”
Weekly Workouts
I ran twice…. had bigger plans but the treadmill wasn’t calling for me and it’s cold out and I had lots of meetings and insert any other excuse you can think of
Highs of Last Week
I forgot to post 🙂 so thought I would throw these in here
- Monday off of work – indoor play place with the kiddos and mother in law and some friends with their kid; we also had Punch pizza for dinner
- I got to make a craft for a very dear friend
- Dinner with a friend!
- Happy hour with friends
- Spent the weekend dog sitting at my brother’s house; I got to see Dakota 🙂 and also have some child free time to relax and read
- I ran to the coffee shop on Saturday and got a latte – a woman was there that was buying everyone’s drinks! It was surprising and just a nice reminder of kind people in the world
